An Anganwadi teacher in Karnataka's Tumakuru allegedly burnt a three-year-old child for wetting his pants on Tuesday.
An Anganwadi teacher allegedly burnt a three-year-old kid for wetting his pants in Karnataka's Tumakuru on Tuesday, August 30. The child suffered burns to his private parts.
The teacher was threatening to burn the child using hot tongs for regularly wetting his trousers. But during the act, the teacher allegedly burnt the child, by mistake, causing injuries.
The incident was reported from Godekere Anganwadi School in Chikkanayakanahalli taluk of Tumakuru. District child rights officers have issued a notice to the teacher and school authorities seeking an explanation.
