Three Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath leaders were booked for issuing threats to Karnataka High Court judges over the Hijab row verdict.
Three Tamil Nadu Thowheed Jamath functionaries have been booked for making derogatory remarks against the Karnataka High Court for its verdict on the Hijab row. The Jamath had recently held a public meeting in the Koripalayam area of Madurai regarding the Karnataka High Court's ruling.
A speech of one of the functionaries has now gone viral for the wrong reasons. He quoted the instance of Jharkand High Court judge's death and warned that judges may now have to face dire consequences over the Hijab verdict.
After the event, a complaint was filed against the functionaries alleging that derogatory remarks were made against the Karnataka HC order and the judges were threatened.

BJP senior leader Vanathi Srinivasan took to Twitter to voice her displeasure over the content of the video and demanded action.
Following the complaint, Madurai police have booked three TNTJ functionaries under five sections of the IPC including 153(a),505(1)(c),505(2),506(1) r/w 109 IPC.
All three accused are being searched by the Madurai police.
