2022 TVS iQube launched - Three variants, more colours, 140km range

The 2022 TVS iQube range starts from Rs 98,564 (on-road, Delhi) and now includes three variants, new colour options, added features and 140km claimed real-world range for the top-end TVS iQube ST.
TVS Motor Company has launched the 2022 iQube electric scooter with prices starting at Rs 98,564 (on-road Delhi inclusive of FAME II subsidy). The biggest change that has been made to the scooter is that the lineup has been expanded to three variants - iQube, iQube S and iQube ST - with varying range, colour options and features.
Features wise, the 2022 TVS iQube gets a 7-inch instrument panel display available on the S and ST, while the base variant gets a 5-inch screen. The SmartXonnect smartphone connectivity allows for functions like live vehicle tracking, crash alert, geo fencing, service alert, TPMS, music player, call function, turn-by-turn navigation, regen braking and more. There is storage for two full-size helmets in the ST variant, while the S and the base variant get a 17-litre under seat storage area.
Powering the 2022 TVS iQube is a 4.4kW motor mated to a 3.04kWh battery pack. For the ST variant with the extra range, a bigger 4.56kWh battery pack is used with the same motor. Charging can be done by the 650W charger which takes 4.5 hours to fill 80 per cent of the battery in the S and base variant, while the ST which comes with fast charge capability can use a 950W or 1,500W charger, filling up the battery to 80 per cent in 4 hours and 2.5 hours respectively. The scooter can be used in Eco or Power mode, which provides a maximised range of 100km on the base and S variant, while the ST has a range of 140km. While acceleration figures are the same for all the three at 4.2seconds for a 0-40kmph dash, the ST has a higher top speed at 82kmph.
Prices for the 2022 TVS iQube start at Rs 98,564 (on-road Delhi) for the base variant post FAME II subsidies, while the TVS iQube S is priced at Rs 1.08 lakh (on-road Delhi) post FAME II subsidies. TVS has not announced the prices for the top-spec ST variant yet but pre-bookings are open at Rs 999.
