2022 Maruti Suzuki S-Presso gets updated engine, more features

Maruti Suzuki has launched the MY2022 S-Presso with the updated K10C 1.0-litre petrol engine promising improved fuel efficiency, along with additions to the car's features list.

Maruti Suzuki has given its 'mini-SUV' an update for 2022. The S-Presso is now powered by the K10C 1.0-litre petrol engine that helps improve fuel efficiency and it also comes with a handful of new features. Visually, the car remains unchanged.

The K10C petrol motor benefits from idle start/stop and has helped the Maruti Suzuki S-Presso post improved fuel efficiency figures. While the manual variant has a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.76kmpl, the automatic variant with a 5-speed AMT has a fuel efficiency rating of 25.30kmpl. This is an improvement of 14 to 17 per cent over the earlier model. The 1.0-litre petrol engine develops 66bhp and 89Nm.

In terms of features, the AMT or AGS variants get ESP (electronic stability program) and hill hold assist. Electrically adjustable ORVMs have been added to the Vxi+ and Vxi+ (O) grades.
