Ahead of the India launch of the BMW X4 facelift, the company has started accepting bookings for the updated SUV coupe that will come with a refreshed exterior and interior along with added features.
BMW has announced that the bookings for the facelifted 2022 X4 SUV Coupe have commenced with the car scheduled for launch in March. Customers can also book the Black Shadow Edition of the 2022 BMW X4, which will only be available only in limited numbers.
The car was updated in international markets last year, and mainly gets some tweaks to the exterior and interior while also benefiting from some new features. Customers can check out BMW India’s website to reserve their car for a price of Rs 50,000. According to the official website, the 2022 BMW X4 Black Shadow Edition is already sold out.
Inside, the car has a 10.25-inch free-standing infotainment display as standard and a 5.1-inch display between the dials for the instrument panel. If specced with BMW Live Cockpit Professional, the instrument panel is a fully digital 12.3-inch display. Other features include three-zone climate control, ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof and electrically adjustable seats with memory function, a high-end audio setup and more. The exact list of features will be revealed upon launch. For the Black Shadow Edition, the car is decked out in Sensatec Synthetic black leather.
In terms of engine options, the 2022 BMW X4 will get both petrol and diesel powertrains and it is likely to carry the same engines as the outgoing model - 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 3.0-litre diesel. BMW's xDrive AWD will be standard.
The outgoing car was sold in a single M SportX trim priced at Rs 67.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the petrol and Rs 71.50 lakh (ex-showroom) for the diesel. The 2022 BMW X4 is likely to be priced similarly. In India, the BMW X4 rivals the Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupe and the Range Rover Evoque.
