A two-year-old girl fell into a 200-foot borewell in Bandikui town in the Dausa district.
In a borewell tragedy, a two-year-old girl fell into a 200-foot borewell in Bandikui town in the Dausa district. The girl, identified as Ankita, can be seen stuck at 100 feet.
A rescue operation is underway.
Sources said that the girl tripped into the borewell while she was playing. The family, upon realising that the child had fallen, reached out to the authorities. Following this, machines and tractors were sent to the spot to commence a rescue operation.
The administration also called the SDRF (State disaster response force) team from Jaipur to the spot. The district administration arrived and the medical team is supplying oxygen through the pipe to the girl present on the spot, while CCTV has been placed to monitor the borewell.
