16-year-old Mumbai girl throws her newborn from 2nd floor, booked

The 16-year-old was booked on murder charges after she allegedly threw the infant from her bathroom. The parents of the minor girl were reportedly unaware of her pregnancy.

The Mumbai Police booked a 16-year-old girl for allegedly throwing her newborn from the second floor of her house in Virar. While the minor girl was booked for murder, the police also registered a case of rape against a 22-year-old man under the Prevention of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.
