A labourer died and eight others were injured on Thursday when a scaffolding collapsed while working on a section of a railway track in east Delhi.
A labourer died and eight others were injured when a scaffolding collapsed while repairing a section section of a railway track in east Delhi on Thursday. The deceased identified as Shehzad, 20, was a resident of Rajasthan's Alwar district, who was killed in the incident near Yamuna Khadar. All those injured are currently undergoing treatment at the Jag Parvesh Hospital and the Guru Teg Bahadur hospital here, police said.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
