The 90-day due diligence period for the merger deal between Zee Entertainment Enterprises and Sony Pictures Networks India Private Limited came to a close on December 21, 2021. The companies had announced the merger on September 22.

An update on the progress of the merger deal is expected soon as the due diligence period ended today. Following the merger, Zee Entertainment Enterprises (ZEE) will hold 47.07 per cent, while Sony Pictures Networks India (SPNI) will hold a nearly 53 per cent stake in the combined entity.
