NSE, BSE holiday: Is stock market open or closed today for Ram Navami?
India Today
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on March 26 due to Ram Navami. There will be no trading activity across segments on both exchanges for the day.
Markets have been having a rough time amid the West Asia war and will deserve a much-needed breather, as trading remains shut today on account of Ram Navami.
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange (NSE) will remain closed on March 26 due to Ram Navami. There will be no trading activity across segments on both exchanges for the day.
This means trading in equities, equity derivatives, securities lending and borrowing, currency derivatives, and interest rate derivatives will remain fully shut.
However, the commodity segment will follow a slightly different schedule. While the commodity derivatives segment will remain closed in the morning session, trading will resume later in the evening session.
Trading on both the NSE and BSE will restart on March 27.
Trading activity in the coming days will remain limited due to multiple holidays lined up. Exchanges are scheduled to be shut for two out of the next several days, leading to shorter trading weeks.

As the war enters its fourth week, airlines are struggling to cope with a sharp rise in jet fuel prices, which have surged significantly in a short span of time. The impact is already visible for passengers, with ticket prices expected to rise in the coming months as airlines try to protect already thin profit margins.
