PM Modi took to Twitter and shared a video recapping his time on board INS Vikrant after its commissioning on Friday.
In a major boost to the India’s naval firepower, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday commissioned the nation’s first home-built aircraft carrier, INS Vikrant.
Taking to Twitter today, PM Modi looked back on the time he spent on board the sprawling warship, the largest ship ever built in India's maritime history, after the commissioning ceremony at Cochin Shipyard in Kerala.

“A historic day for India! Words will not be able to describe the feeling of pride when I was on board INS Vikrant yesterday,” the prime minister tweeted, along with a video of himself on board the Vikrant.
With Vikrant's induction, India has joined a select club of nations such as the US, the UK, Russia, China and France in having niche capability to indigenously design and build an aircraft carrier.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
