Won't accept Navjot Singh Sidhu as state Congress chief, say Punjab Congress leaders

On a day when disgruntled Congress leader and former Punjab minister Navjot Singh Sidhu met party high command in Delhi, the leaders of Punjab Chief Minister Capt Amarinder Singh's camp have said they would not support the move to alleviate Sidhu as state Congress chief. Navjot Singh Sidhu, who was in Delhi on Wednesday, met former Congress chief Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra at their residence. Sources in the Congress have told India Today TV that the party is likely to make an announcement about Navjot Singh Sidhu's future role within 48 hours.More Related News
