CBC
A two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Upton Road and and Regis Duffy Drive in Charlottetown Thursday morning sent the driver of one of the vehicles — a woman in her 40s — to hospital in life-threatening condition.
Sgt. David Flynn of Charlottetown Police Services said the accident happened at 8:01 a.m.
He said the driver of the other vehicle was not taken to hospital.
An investigation into the collision with an accident reconstructionist and traffic analyst is ongoing. Police are looking for and interviewing witnesses.
Upton Road is expected to be closed most of Thursday morning.
There is no update on the condition of the woman who was sent to hospital.

Sarnia City Council will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning to respond to social media comments made by Coun. Bill Dennis, who criticized city spending on a new mural by Indigenous artist Kennady Osborne as “virtue signalling by woke politicians” — then made a series of comments in response to a reply from Aamjiwnaang Chief Janelle Nahmabin that some have characterized as unprofessional and aggressive.
