In an exclusive interview with India Today, Lok Janshakti Party’s newly appointed parliamentary leader Pashupati Paras said he will not take a U-turn on his stand against Chirag Paswan. He took this step to keep LJP intact, he said.
Pashupati Paras, newly appointed parliamentary leader of Lok Janshakti Party, on Wednesday told India Today in an exclusive interview that there is no question of him taking a U-turn on the stand he has taken against his nephew Chirag Paswan. He did so to keep the party intact, he said. "Why will I take a U-turn on the decision I have taken? The party had split and so had my heart. I came forward to keep the party intact and join broken hearts," said Pashupati Paras. Over the past few days, the LJP has seen quite some turmoil. Five out of the party’s six Members of Parliament, led by Paras, revolted against party chief Chirag Paswan. They asked Lok Sabha speaker Om Birla to recognise Paras as the party’s parliamentary leader in place of Paswan.More Related News
