
Will cooperate, says Arvind Kejriwal as CBI team reaches Manish Sisodia’s residence

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal took to Twitter to support his deputy Manish Sisodia after a CBI team reached his residence on Friday.
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal extended his support to his deputy Manish Sisodia after a Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) team reached his residence on Friday morning.
Taking to Twitter, CM Kejriwal said, “The day when the Delhi education model was praised and Manish Sisodia's picture printed on the front page of America's largest newspaper NYT, on the same day, the Centre sent CBI to his home”.
Kejriwal added, “Welcome to CBI. Will cooperate fully. There have been many tests/raids in the past as well. Nothing came out. Still nothing will come out”.

The CBI has raided the residence of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia in connection with the excise policy row. Searches are also being conducted across 20 locations in the National Capital Region.
Meanwhile, Manish Sisodia has tweeted refuting all allegations and said that he will cooperate with the investigation. Sisodia said it was unfortunate that those who perform in the country are harassed like this.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
