White House Shocks Social Media By Retweeting Trump's Vile Rob Reiner Post
HuffPost
The post was condemned on a bipartisan level.
Although President Donald Trump is being heavily criticized for a vile post on Truth Social where he blamed film director Rob Reiner for his own death, the social media team at the White House seems quite OK with the president’s sentiments.
Reiner’s son, Nick, 32, was booked for murder Monday in the deaths of the director and his wife, Michele Reiner.
Trump addressed Rob Reiner’s death on the platform, but claimed it was “reportedly due to the anger he caused others through his massive, unyielding, and incurable affliction with a mind crippling disease known as TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME, sometimes referred to as TDS.”
The heartlessness of the post and its timing was too much for some of Trump’s own followers on Truth Social, but not for the White House’s official social media account.
A minute after the post appeared on TruthSocial the White House posted it on X via its @RapidResponse47 account.
