Businessman Raj Kundra, husband of Bollywood actor Shilpa Shetty, has been arrested by the Mumbai crime branch in a case related to the alleged creation of pornographic films and publishing them through apps. When the police arrested the 45-year-old on Monday, he was described as the “key conspirator” of the case. The Mumbai Police added that it found incriminating evidence establishing the 45-year-old businessman’s links with the pornographic industry and claimed that WhatsApp chats revealed his involvement in the financial dealings of apps and their contents.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
