Union Minister Narayan Rane has been taking potshots at Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray and his family ever since he was inducted into the Union Cabinet. Recently, Rane was arrested for making a controversial remark against Uddhav Thackeray, but was released on bail later in the evening.
Union Minister Narayan Rane landed in a soup for his controversial remark against Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Monday. While participating in the BJP's Jan Ashirwad rally in the Konkan region, Rane had said he would "slap" the Maharashtra chief minister. The incident sparked fresh tensions between BJP and Shiv Sena, leading to the arrest of Narayan Rane on Tuesday. However, he was released on bail later in the evening.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

He was allegedly threatened with his life over the delay in repayment. Fearing for his life, Sachin immediately alerted the police.
