Water levels in Papanasam and Manimuthar dams, along with rainfall data for various locations in Tamil Nadu.
The water level in Papanasam dam stood at 110.35 feet (the maximum level is 143 feet) with an inflow of 478.90 cusecs and a discharge of 800 cusecs. The water level in Manimuthar dam stood at 99.64 feet (the maximum level is 118 feet) with an inflow of 191.71 cusecs and a discharge of 430 cusecs.
The rainfall recorded in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Sunday was (in mm): Servalar dam 3, Kannadian anicut 4, Manimutharu 3, Manjolai 8, Kakkachi 12, Nalumukku 15, and Oothu recorded 25 mm rainfall.
