Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Tuesday stood at 138.25 feet (permissible level is 142 ft) with an inflow of 242 cusecs and a discharge of 1,867 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level stood at 51.18 feet (maximum level is 71 ft) with an inflow of 1,457 cusecs and a discharge of 2,169 cusecs. The combined storage in Periyar credit was 6,995 mcft.
