Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Tuesday stood at 130 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 feet) with an inflow of 1,908 cusecs and a discharge of 1,400 cusecs. In Vaigai dam, the level was 61.98 ft. (the maximum level is 71 feet) with an inflow of 2,779 cusecs and a discharge of 69 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 6,523.96 mcft.
