Four injured in SUV collision with a stranded goods carrier on Narsingi ORR, causing significant traffic congestion.
Four persons were injured after a sport utility vehicle (SUV) rammed into a stationary goods carrier vehicle on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) near the Greyhounds in Narsingi on Sunday (March 22, 2026) night.
According to the police, the incident was reported arOund 8.45 p.m. when the goods carrier vehicle, travelling from TGPA towards Gachibowli, lost its left rear wheels, forcing the driver to halt on the carriageway. Shortly afterwards, a car approaching from behind collided with the stranded vehicle.
The occupants of the car sustained injuries in the crash and were shifted to a nearby hospital for treatment.
The accident led to the blockage of three to four lanes on the busy stretch, causing heavy traffic congestion on the ORR for some time. Cyberabad Traffic Police personnel, with the assistance of a crane, cleared the damaged vehicles and restored normal traffic flow. Further investigation is underway.
