Water level in Mullaperiyar dam stands at 119.65 feet

Mullaperiyar dam's water level on Wednesday was 119.65 ft. Vaigai dam level was 49.80 ft.
Water level in Mullaperiyar dam on Wednesday stood at 119.65 feet (the maximum permissible level is 142 ft.) with an inflow of 301 cusecs and a discharge of 400 cusecs. The level in Vaigai dam was 49.80 ft. (71 ft.) with nil inflow and a discharge of 69 cusecs. Combined storage in Periyar credit was 3,622 mcft. Mullaperiyar dam recorded a rainfall of 16.4 mm and Thekkadi 5.6 mm in the 24 hours ending at 6 a.m. on Wednesday.
