The water level in Papanasam dam on Monday stood at 98.60 feet (maximum permissible level is 143 feet). The dam had an inflow of 998.73 cusecs and 704.75 cusecs of water was discharged. The level in Manimuthar Dam stood at 79.25 feet (maximum level 118 feet). The dam had an inflow of 192 cusecs and 35 cusecs of water was discharged.
