Watch Karoline Leavitt's Reaction When Asked If Trump Believes In ETs

“Well, a speech on aliens would be news to me," the White House press secretary said before admitting, "That sounds very exciting, though."
If Karoline Leavitt appeared to be a little starry-eyed for a second during Wednesday’s press briefing, it’s understandable: It’s not every day the White House press secretary is asked about President Donald Trump’s belief in extraterrestrials.
At some point during the media cluster, Newsmax correspondent Mike Carter noted that former President Barack Obama recently said during a podcast that aliens from outer space are “real,” while Lara Trump claimed her father-in-law already has a speech about the existence of extraterrestrials ready to engage during a podcast interview on Wednesday.
Carter then beamed up the question to Leavitt: “Is that true, and does the Trump administration believe aliens are real?”
Leavitt smiled and admitted she wasn’t in the loop about Trump’s opinions on life in other parts of the galaxy.
“A speech on aliens would be news to me,” she said. “That sounds very exciting, though.”
