Senior Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) leader Dr Daljit Cheema demanded that people behind “a deep-rooted conspiracy” to keep Mukhtar Ansari in Rupnagar jail be exposed and punished. There are also allegations that Ansari's wife and a cook were also living in a rented house in Rupnagar.
