Virginia now a battleground as Trump surges — and Biden’s failures drag Dems down

This time he’s trying to win those same states back — but he also has the chance to pick up another target that’s long eluded the GOP.

Virginia has gone blue in every presidential election since 2008.

Four years ago Trump lost the state to Joe Biden by 10 points.

Nobody considered Virginia — and its 13 electoral votes — a battleground this year.

Yet the most recent surveys show a state distinctly in play.
