Air Canada flight attendant on LaGuardia plane was strapped to jumpseat and ejected during deadly crash
NY Post
An Air Canada flight attendant was violently thrown from the plane when it crashed into a fire truck at LaGuardia Airport Sunday night — and was still strapped into her jumpseat when she was found, sources said.
The attendant miraculously survived the horrific smash-up when she was ejected from Flight 8646, which originated in Montreal. The plane collided with the truck on Runway 4 around 11:40 p.m., striking the middle of the vehicle and sending the Port Authority officers inside flying from their seats, sources said.
The fire truck was en route to an emergency on a United Airlines flight that had turned on warning lights after an odor in the cabin left the crew feeling sick.

Both pilots were killed.
It’s unclear how badly the flight attendant was injured. The two PA officers, who worked on the PA’s Aircraft Rescue Fire Fighter Unit, are in stable condition.
