CNN host Rahel Solomon announces she’s leaving the network live on air
NY Post
A CNN host quit her job live on air Monday during the network’s morning show, “Early Start.”
Rahel Solomon broke her surprising “personal news” on the 5 a.m. broadcast, just months after returning from maternity leave.
“I have decided that this will be my last week at CNN. More to come on what’s next for me, but I’m really excited about this next chapter,” Solomon said.
“Thank you to the team at ‘Early Start.’ To the larger team here at CNN — I’m going to be cheering you on. I look forward to watching,” she said. “So this is truly not goodbye, but see you soon.”
The clip was shared on the show’s official X account as well.
The 37-year-old anchor said Friday will be her last day but she didn’t offer more details on her next move.
