
Vijendra Singh takes charge as NCB zonal director, replaces Wankhede

IRS officer Vijendra Singh on Tuesday took charge as zonal director of the NCB in Mumbai.
IRS officer Vijendra Singh on Tuesday took charge as zonal director of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) here, an official said.
Singh took over from outgoing zonal director Sameer Wankhede.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
