Video of Karnataka farmer getting Rs 10 lakh to buy car after salesman insults him goes viral | Watch

A farmer went to inquire about a car and was insulted by the salesman. He challenged the salesman that if he got Rs 10 lakh, the car should be delivered immediately. The farmer got the money, but the salesman couldn’t deliver the car, leading to a tiff.

A video of a salesman insulting a farmer at a Mahindra showroom in Karnataka’s Tumkur has gone viral. The villager, identified as Kempegowda, an areca nut (betel nut) farmer, was insulted by a salesman at the Mahindra showroom when he had gone to enquire about buying a car with his friends.

The sales executive had allegedly insulted him, saying that he wouldn't have even Rs 10 in his pocket, let alone Rs 10 lakh.

The farmer left the showroom, challenging the sales executive that if he brought Rs 10 lakh, then the car should be delivered immediately. Thirty minutes later, the farmer returned with Rs 10 lakh and demanded the car.

But, the sales executive could not deliver and asked for two days. The farmer got upset and filed a complaint with the local police. The video of the incident has gone viral.

The sales executive had to apologise for his behaviour.
