UP polls: BJP plans to reach 2 crore scheme beneficiaries, bring back rebels

The BJP has drawn up two plans. The party wants to contact about two crore beneficiaries of schemes such as Kisan Samman Nidhi, Ujjwala, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana Ayushman Bharat. The party wants to convert these beneficiaries, including farmers and women, into its voters.
Ahead of early next year’s Assembly election in Uttar Pradesh, the opposition is targeting the BJP with allegations, while the ruling party is levelling counter-allegations. It is also trying to strengthen both the government and the party organisation.
