
UP Police nabs three more suspected terrorists with links to Al Qaeda outfit

Days after UP Police nabbed two suspected terrorists of the Al Qaeda-supported outfit Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, the force arrested three more operatives of the same outfit on Wednesday.
The Uttar Pradesh Police has arrested three more suspected terrorists of the Al Qaeda-supported outfit Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind. This comes days after the UP Anti-Terror Squad (ATS) nabbed two suspected terrorists -- Minhaz Ahmed and Maseeruddin -- of the same outfit in Lucknow and recovered an IED explosive, a pistol and a pressure cooker bomb during the raids.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
