The Uttar Pradesh government banned selling liquor and meat in an area within 10 square kilometres radius around Krishna Janmabhoomi in Vrindavan, Mathura. The region, which has 22 municipal wards, was declared as a pilgrimage site. Reportedly, the decision was taken by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Friday ahead of the Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations in Vrindavan.More Related News
