Sources have told India Today TV that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may expand his cabinet soon. The matter is likely to be discussed at a key BJP meeting tomorrow.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may expand his cabinet soon and a discussion on this is likely to take place during the UP BJP's working committee meeting on Friday. Sources privy to the development said the working committee will discuss the party's strategy for the 2022 Uttar Pradesh Assembly election. "Besides the election strategy, the meeting will also discuss matters related to cabinet expansion," a source said, adding that the cabinet will be expanded "soon".
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
