The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the central government’s proposal to repeal the three contentious farm laws, sources said.

The Union Cabinet on Wednesday approved the central government’s proposal to repeal the three contentious farm laws, sources said.

The Farm Laws Repeal Bill 2021 was taken up by the Union Cabinet at a meeting earlier in the day and given the stamp of approval. The Union Ministry of Agriculture is said to have finalised this Bill after holding consultations with the Prime Minister's Office (PMO).
