The president fired off a new attack on "Late Show" host Seth Meyers.
It seems like President Donald Trump was just triggered by a TV rerun.
Over the weekend, he fired off another angry rant aimed at “Late Show” host Seth Meyers.
“NBC’s Seth Meyers is suffering from an incurable case of Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS),” the president wrote on his Truth Social website on Saturday. “He was viewed last night in an uncontrollable rage, likely due to the fact that his ‘show’ is a Ratings DISASTER. Aside from everything else, Meyers has no talent, and NBC should fire him, IMMEDIATELY!”
“Last night,” in this case, would have been Friday, when the show was broadcasting a rerun of an episode from two weeks prior.
Trump, who often rails against TV hosts who mock him, has been especially angry at Meyers lately. Earlier this month, Trump said Meyers “may be the least talented person to ‘perform’ live in the history of television.” Trump then shifted to all-caps to call Meyers “NO TALENT, NO RATINGS, 100% ANTI TRUMP, WHICH IS PROBABLY ILLEGAL!!!”
