UN Special Rapporteur on the 'Right to Food' has welcomed India's plan to repeal farm laws.
A United Nations (UN) expert has welcomed India's plan to repeal farm laws that sparked deadly protests.
In a statement released this Friday, the UN Special Rapporteur on the Right to Food, Michael Fakhri, also urged the Government to ensure accountability for the casualties.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
