Puducherry Chief Minister pays tribute to MG Ramachandran on his birth anniversary, joined by government officials and MLAs.
Chief Minister N. Rangasamy on Wednesday paid floral tributes to the statue of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MG Ramachandran on the 107th birth anniversary of the actor-turned-politician and AIADMK founder.
Among others who paid floral tributes to the leader on behalf of the government were Speaker R. Selvam, K. Lakshminarayanan, PWD Minister; P. Rajavelu, Deputy Speaker; and MLAs R. Baskar and G. Nehru.

After mandating pet dog licensing and microchipping, Greater Chennai Corporation (GCC) bids to do the same for cattle to curb stray cattle issues and man-animal conflicts in the streets. The civic body has moved to make it compulsory for cattle owners to obtain licenses for their animals across all zones.
