North Chennai's Tiruvottiyur and Manali zones will lack piped water from February 20-21 due to pipeline work.
Some parts of north Chennai falling under Tiruvottiyur and Manali zones will not receive piped water supply from 10 p.m. on February 20 to 10 a.m. on February 21 as the Chennai Metrowater will carry out water pipeline interconnection works on Madhavaram-Red Hills Road.
A press release said areas such as Ernavoor, Raja Shanmuga Nagar, Napalayam, Manali New Town, Andarkuppam, and Mathur will be affected. Metrowater has requested residents to store water in advance and book water online for emergency requirements.
