Two Maoistst were killed in an encounter with the Telangana Greyhounds special police forces at the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border on Tuesday, January 18.
An encounter between Telangana Greyhounds and Maoists at the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border resulted in the deaths of two Maoists on Tuesday, January 18.
Greyhounds is a police special forces unit of the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Police departments. Greyhounds specialise in counter-insurgency operations against Naxalite and Maoist terrorists.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
