Two Indian Army personnel were killed in an accidental mine blast in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on Sunday night.
Two Army personnel were killed in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch near the Line of Control (LoC) in an accidental mine blast on Sunday night.
As per the Army statement, "On the night of 17 July 2022, an accidental grenade blast occurred in the Mendhar Sector, District Poonch when troops were performing their duties along the Line of Control."
The injured soldiers were immediately evacuated by a helicopter and were taken to Udhampur.
During the treatment, an officer and a Junior Commissioned Officer (JCO) succumbed to their injuries.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.
