The latest violence comes after 31 people were killed in an attack on Friday
Two explosions hit UN camps in the northern Mali city of Gao on Sunday, causing damage but no casualties.
The blasts which occurred at 0545 GMT shook the barracks of the United Nations mission in Mali, called MINUSMA, forcing the occupants to take refuge in shelters for two hours. The French army said there was only material damage.
The latest violence comes after 31 people were killed in an attack on Friday by suspected jihadists near the central town of Bandiagara.

When the conflict in West Asia, which began with the U.S. and Israel’s attack on Iran on February 28, escalated into a regional war, analysts said that the war would last as long as Iran had missiles or until the Gulf nations ran out of interceptors. However, with “emergency” military sales, piling monetary costs and a strained supply chain, is the U.S. becoming too constrained in its effort to keep the war going — both militarily and monetarily?
