The BJP on Saturday (January 4, 2025) released a list of 29 candidates for the Delhi Assembly elections scheduled to be held in February 2025. The first list includes Vijender Gupta contesting from Rohini constituency, Ashish Sood from Janakpuri, Kailash Gahlot from Bijwasan and Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma from New Delhi.
Three soldiers killed, two hurt as Army vehicle falls into gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora
Three Army personnel were killed and two were injured when their vehicle fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district, officials said on Saturday (January 4, 2025). An Army vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gorge near SK Payen in the north Kashmir district, they said.
Delhi records longest duration of zero visibility due to intense fog; over 300 flights delayed
The national capital recorded its worst fog yet this season with zero visibility conditions for nine hours from mid-night hampering flight operations at Indira Gandhi International airport where over 300 flights were delayed, 41 cancelled and 19 diverted.
