India Today
Top government sources said that in its communication to Twitter, the Centre has asked the social media giant to remove the ‘manipulated media’ tag in the toolkit case.
The central government on Friday took objections to Twitter labelling a tweet by BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra as “manipulated media”. In the tweet in question, Sambit Patra had shared some screenshots of what he claimed was a “toolkit” prepared by the Congress party to attack and defame Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Congress has rubbished these charges and alleged that the screenshots were of text printed on a “forged” letterhead of the Congress. The party has also registered FIRs against BJP leaders in this regard.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.

India's original Dhurandhar, Ravindra Kaushik, rose from acting at college theatres, to infiltrating the Pakistan Army as a RAW Agent. He provided critical intelligence on Pakistani troop movements and the country's nuclear programme, but died a lonely death after his betrayal and subsequent capture by the ISI.
