Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma handed out appointment letters to mark the 100th day of the BJP's government in Assam.
Kickstarting the process of providing government jobs to 1 lakh unemployed youths in the state, the Assam government on Friday distributed appointment letters to 767 candidates in different directorates of the education department on regular and compassionate grounds. Employment will remain one of the core focus areas of Assam Government.
