Hours after three Jharkhand Congress MLAs were arrested in the Bengal cash haul on Saturday, TMC spokesperson Kunal Ghosh has accused the BJP of trying to topple the Jharkhand government.
Trinamool Congress (TMC) spokesperson Kunal Ghosh has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) of trying to topple the Jharkhand government, a day after three Jharkhand Congress MLAs were arrested in the Bengal cash haul.
“Is BJP not behind all this game? How the money came to these MLAs,” said Ghosh.
Kunal Ghosh said Leader of Opposition in Bengal assembly and BJP leader, Suvendu Adhikari, had said his party’s next target was Jharkhand and he also tried to disintegrate West Bengal.

Seeking investigation into the matter, he said, “TMC wants a thorough investigation into the matter and Suvendu Adhikari should be questioned in this as he said the next target was Jharkhand.”
Earlier, the Congress had accused the BJP of trying to topple its coalition government, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha-Congress alliance, by poaching its MLAs.
Avinash Pandey blamed Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and said he has phone recordings to prove that Sarma was in touch with the three MLAs. He added that he had spoken to JMM chief and Chief Minister Hemant Soren and a meeting was held.
