
Three suspected Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh terrorists held in Kolkata

Three Bangladeshi nationals suspected to be operatives of terror outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh were held in Kolkata. The police have recovered fire arms, Indian ID cards, Bangladeshi passports, jehadi litreture from their possession.
A Special Task Force (STF) of Kolkata Police on Sunday arrested three Bangladeshi nationals suspected to be operatives of banned terror outfit Jamaat-ul-Mujahideen Bangladesh (JMB). The accused had taken shelter near the Thakurpukur Cancer Hospital in Kolkata by impersonating themselves as the family members of a patient, sources said. Based on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid on their house and arrested them.
A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
