The Karnataka State Legislature Book Fair - 2025, the brainchild of Assembly Speaker U.T. Khader played host to over 150 book stalls and publishers and several panel discussions, poetry reading sessions and cultural programmes. Impressed by the enthusiasm, Chief Minister Siddaramaah has promised to make it an annual feature.
Said Nesara A.S., who was excitedly browsing through books in the fair on Sunday, “It is a great idea, as this has opened up the gates of the iconic building to the public. For an entire generation, this has been an architectural marvel admired only from a distance. It was great that it was made possible through books. I hope this happens every year.”
