A terrorist was killed in an encounter that broke out in Srinagar late on Thursday.
A terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, IGP Kashmir said on Friday.The encounter in Srinagar broke out in the evening in Hamdaniya Colony area of Bemina in Srinagar, officials were quoted by news agency PTI as saying.
"One unidentified terrorist was killed" in the encounter, the Kashmir Zone Police wrote on its official Twitter handle.

A prominent seer, Pranavananda Swamiji, alleged that mutts backing Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar to take over the top post were denied any allocation in the state budget presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah. He reiterated his support for Shivakumar to take over as the chief minister.
